National Education Database

NEDB is a subsystem of e-Learning designed to automate business processes for collection and processing initial statistical data on education.

In NEDB, the  data collection for administrative reports is automated, that have been filled in manually and gathered in the chain: "school - Department of Education - Office of Education - MES RK".

In NEDB, process of collecting data from 17,794 educational organizations is automated for subsequent automatic generation of reports related to the material and technical base, Human Resource and enrollment:

  • 7997 pre-school education institutions
  • 7413 institutions of primary, basic secondary and general secondary education
  • 906 institutions of additional education for children
  • 190 education institutions for orphans and children left without parental care (legal representatives)
  • 858 institutions of technical and professional education
  • 137 specialized educational institutions
  • 293 special education institutions

Education Statistics

The data obtained from the system allows monitoring the education at different levels on various aspects.

Academic progress and attendance

  • capability of generating reports based on the current and final academic progress and attendance indicators for each student, teacher /instructor, subject, class /group, parallel /specialty and for a school in general
  • ranking of the student in the class/group, parallel/course, specialty
  • identifying the group of students with high and low results
  • tracking the results from quarter /semester to quarter /semester, from year to year
  • comparing of the groups, classes, parallels, specialties under the preset parameters
  • generating student progress reports, examination sheets, appendices to certificates/diplomas

Enrollment

  • generating reports on composition and number

Staff

  • comparative assessment of quality of the teachers’ work
